I'm not saying that there will be interesting things to see at the EBMM booth.

I'm not saying anything at all.

Some guy named Big Poppa did say, however, "ok lunatics it is the 20th silhouette, the thirtieth sting ray, the new limited.." and he said it on the internet, so who knows if it's true or not.

Anyway, can't say for sure that I will make it.....gotta go to Peru for Xmas and so on....but could be an interesting time.

You know, NAMM and all.

Jack

Jack, if you'll be in Peru, I can step in for you and represent VBTC's Ernie Ball sales force at NAMM. :D

I'll be back from Peru, but it's an expensive trip......three of us, round trip, most costly time of year to travel....and I really don't want to go anyway, but hah, good luck with THAT, right?

So it might be a financial issue more than anything else.

Hey, can I write this stuff off now?

Wait, I'd still have to have the money to do it before writing it off.

Ah well.

Still got a while to figure it out.

Piece of cake, Jack!

The NAMM show isn't until January, right? You just tell Santa that for your Christmas gift you'd like to go to NAMM.. done.

Let me know if that works.

Keep selling EBMM basses Jacko and maybe your boss with pay your way. NAMM is being real dicks now though and only allowing W2 "employees" and no longer allowing me to get passes for 1099 subcontractors. I'll be registering for passes this week.

How do you get in if you're not a dealer or distributor? It's do-able for me, since I live close enough.

A friend of mine has a a family member who owns a music store and I can usually get a pass through them. One year I got in through Gallien Krueger,Trip Wamsley gave me a pass that belonged to John Taylor's(Duran Duran)bass tech.

Did I mention that I'm already booked into the Austin show next July and have Karen working on a Dudefest with cocktails and pupu's??? Someone say a 30th Anniversary Ray??

Work with the artist...

Austin should be a good time. It's the right kind of town for it.

I won't miss that. But one of these days, I'd like to make it to LA for The Big Show.

I'll keep selling basses no matter what, Steebo.

Dang, it's early.

Let me see if I get it right Jack, you don't want to go to Peru??? I'd love to go there, it looks mighy fine over there :D but then again, I'm an archaeologist, so I like stuff like gigantic temples, old civilisations,....

I love that stuff, too, but I lived there for years and years and now have to go back every year or so to visit the wife's family.

Hey, it was fun at first.

Hey, if you sell a Bongo in Peru can't you write your ticket off????

I think I might go. A friend of mine owns a music store so I will get a pass through them. Nashville to LAX is $244 on priceline. Should be a good time. I went to the one in Indianapolis and had a blast.
