I will for sure be there with my friend and I believe we will be taking MrHyde along with us. Cant wait to freakin be there and watch one of the MASTERS (of the universe) do what he does best. I'm gonna take my awesome 8mgp camera and take like 200 pictures. The best part is, that I will also be attending the Dream Theater concert on Saturday at Radio City which they are filming aparently for their 20th anniversary together. I hope I can take pictures there!!!!!:D :D :D :cool: :cool: :cool:

I sure will :)! I'm just not sure about the concert at Rdaio City. I dont know if they will let people take pictures, so I have to find out. I guess if not I'll just see the DVD later :D!

It's kind of a gross day here in NYC as well, and plus I am sitting at work pretty bored thinking about next week and listening to some great music.

MMmmm yeah, that may be a problem - how about taking a digi camera and switch off the flash?
Its amazing whart detail you can get when you increase the brightness using something like photoshop.

Well what I have IS a digital camera, so I dont have to use the flash. But it's pretty big, so I dunno how I would take it in there. I could take my fathers tiny one if it comes to that. But I would really love to take mine, cuz it has a 12X optical zoom so can take some awesome close ups from further away, and the resolution is awesome as well.
 
I'm taking the day off so that I can be there. Hopefully nobody in my family gets sick.

Hopefully I will be there all morning watching the line outside the door grow and grow and grow. I will make plenty of funny faces on the window glass at the people waiting outside. Waldo will be there also. If you don't see me floating around, just yell "Where's Waldo DuBaldo??!?!" and like a genie POOF! someone will appear and hopefully be able to answer your questions.

Pete, how many people can fit into that store. I hope it's not too crowded, because I have enough of that in NYC. And you say that the door will be opening at 12 noon?
 
The doors open at noon. I don't know what capacity is right now (edit - 300), but there will be plenty of room once everyone is seated and the clinic actually begins. I'm quite sure it will be like a madhouse beforehand. :eek: We are opening up an empty store down the hall which can hold a lot of people. Kind of like a pig-pen ;)

UPDATE - Capacity is close to 300. The 4x12s are here, amps come in tomorrow with the PA, the EB guitars are all in tune (around a dozen JPs here, too!), the Soldanos have the tubes warming up next to the TranzAmps, the floor has been cleaned, the mom & pop atmosphere is in full swing, and we have a surprise in the works, too!

I asked the good folks at EB a while back if I could host a clinic if any artists came this way on tour, they said "we'll put that down, keep reminding us about it and let us know if you see any artists coming up your way in case we overlook it"

When Dream Theater announced a tour date in Connecticut for the 29th of this month, I began bugging EB to ask John Petrucci if he would like to come here for a clinic.

I did have the opportunity to meet John a few years back, but that was right before I began selling EB products. That meeting was actually the catalyst which got me motivated to get the dealer agreement with EB :)
