Will Hot Rail Fit in a Cutlass

I have a Custlass SSS and want to put a Seymour Duncan hot rail in the bidge.
Will it fit? are there any known problems with this?

The beauty of a guitar with a pickguard is that any pickup will fit. You may need to have a router or a chisel handy though

I owned a Sterling Cutlass about 4 years ago and the previous owner had an Air Norton S DP180 Creme installed. I removed it.
Ok it is a different pickup and a different guitar. Don´t know if that helps
