You are all wrong, Tommy.
He only wants to help: "This should be used for restoration!"

Please can someone restorate my OLP to an EBMM EVH?:D ;) :D

maybe i'm way wrong on this, but if i were to damage one of my EVHs and needed to refinish it...what is wrong with having something like this to "restore" it?

or is it the fact that this guy is reproducing these without EBs permission?

These are fake and a violation of copyright. If you have a damaged Musicman send it to the company who built it and the will support you with a new neck.
I think since they are not allowed to make a EVH neck anymore, it would be an AXIS neck without Ed´s signature.

But to answer your question: It´s illegal!

Hey Mick...i just picked up a trans black EVH last night!!! You got a frontal view of yours? i wanted to see yours front and center! :D I think this one might be a keeper!!!! I havent had a trans black EVH in almost 3 yrs? :D

Ok all, aparently I made a gigantic mistake. The decals your referring to were given to me a long time ago, I wasnt trying to be a thief as people have said. But I guess it retrospect, it would certainly appear that way. I deeply apologise. I have removed the auction and it will NEVER return. If you wish to continue flame me regarding this matter, feel free, I deserve it. My deepest apologies..

the dude sounds sincere....

i dont think he meant any harm, or as some of you put it, (bad karma)

there has got to be a ton of EVHs out there that need to be restored...and they should be restored! The EBMM EVH is a piece of rock n roll history! As the '69 GTO is to American muscle cars!

if these decals were available, (to EVH owners only, who could prove they have a ligit, damaged EVH), they could be brought back to life!

just my view....:)

While I'm not denying anyone's right to protect copywrighted/intellectual property, it does raise a valid question. Brent has a point. What are EVH owners supposed to do when their guitar needs a replacement neck/repaint? Is this one of the risks of buying a no-longer-in-production signature guitar?

Anyways, it's done. He pulled the auction. What's in the past can't be undone.

Time to drop it like a hot potato.

I'm sure no one blames you guys BP.

My friend was the Product Mgr at Peavey during the end of the Ed deal.

We spoke at great length. <shudder>
