It looks nice with a couple colors. Candy apple red and sherwood green Fenders with matching headstocks come to mind.

I tried it on a sunbusrt j@zz bass once and never felt the same about it.
 
Well i was watchin ummm what is there name 18 visions video and was looking at mick and a light hit it and the hardware looked gold and on his bass its looked nice normally its look ugly but i want it now lol... no speail orders?

Yeah. Sometimes they did non-standard finishes aswell.

But there's a place in Florida that does the gold on them as well.

i dont like that color golf is to yellow and dark speically around the head stock it looks to be bronze
