Well, I wrote a happy sounding song two weeks ago for my niece.
And named it "CELEBRATION TIME".

Her Bat Mitzvah (and 13th birthday) is 5/22.

I taught it to my band and then we recorded it. Dueling flute and guitar in it. All in about 3 hours.

In 2 of the best compliments ever, my niece says she loves it so much she can't stop listening to it. Then asks if it's okay if the dj plays it at the big party for her the night of the 22nd?

Hell, yes it's okay!

Curious to see how it goes over. (Petrified really).

Hey OC,

My computer (circa 95) doesn't even have a cd drive.

I really need to upgrade. I could run you a cd copy off my home studio and send it along if you email an address or po box.

We recorded it live into my drummers roland 2420 (1st song with my new piezo luke, though no piezo on tune) and the vibe of putting something together as quickly as we did really comes through with the energy inherent in the tune.

Though I did flub twice. Only one is noticeable though. We overdubbed the flute as he played bass during the first pass. We only had that day to do it as the bass/flute player left on business a day later. Really proud of the guys effort to make it happen for me. And my niece.
