X02 vs X03 vs X04 ... vs X07?

I am having a hard time findout information on the differences between the various models of the SUB basses. In particular I am looking at an X07.

Anyone know the specs for the X07 and how its different from say the X04?

What's the X07? Maybe a SUB Sterling? I think the X02 is a passive 4, the X03 is an active 4 and the X04 is an active 5.

OK, the X01 is the passive 4, the X02 is the active 4, the X03 is the passive 5 and the X04 is the active 5. Still haven't found any reference to an X07 though.

You seem to be correct about the X07 being a "Sterling". I found one for sale on a web site in Switzerland (I googled: sub bass x07). I know its an Active bass cause I saw the battery on the one in the store.

Since I haven't looked at musicman basses before can you tell me what the "Sterling" label implies?

I can tell you that the regular Sterling has a smaller (thinner) neck and a smaller body than the Stingray. It also has a switch on the pickup to change from both coils series to both coils parallel to a single coil. The Sterling only comes in a 4 string.

The S.U.B. Sterling has a smaller body and a thinner neck that the regular S.U.B.s. It's lighter than the S.U.B. and it comes with a three band EQ instead of a 2 band. It also had the option of a flat black pickguard.
