Just did a deal on this 2012 Steve Morse Y2D, should arrive next week! How rare are these with mahogany bodies, pau ferro boards, stainless steel frets, and honey burst finish? Nice roasted maple neck, and supposedly only weighs about 7.5 pounds. :)

Don't know which run that's from, but I don't recall seeing those before... it is gorgeous! Congrats!!
Thanks! From what I've been researching, it's a PDN (Premier Dealer Network) order from 2012 where a bunch of different guitars and basses were made with the same specs.

It's the 2012 Honey Roast PDN run, one of the first PDN runs! How awesome!
Blue is my favorite color, and I almost went for one of the blue/purple burst models with non-recesssed Floyd, but also fell in love with this one and got a decent deal. My wife also encouraged me to get it since my 50th is in a few months and she said she'll give me some money towards it! I'm excited to get my first EBMM! 🤗

Welcome to the forum family, Joe!

Wow congrats, if you like blue, you should check out Pete Dubaldo's Blue run.

Oh, wow! That's beautiful, too. GAS is also strong for that one. My wife probably wouldn't even care if I got another, but I'll enjoy the honeyburst for awhile before I buy another guitar; plus I've still got one or two other guitars I don't play much that I should probably sell first.

Joe, cool man, Pete is poster here and one of the best dealers around. He loves blue guitars and his color choice is sick.

So this arrived earlier. It is awesome! Lightweight, and pretty much mint condition. Looks like more of a birdseye maple top combined with quilt, and the neck has lots of birdseye, too. :)
Seems like the only thing swapped out was the original chrome strap buttons for a set of black standard/original Dunlops which I'm not a fan of, but I've got an extra set of the Dual Design version I can throw on.

Also, looks like it's got a TonePros locking bridge which is a neat touch. Not sure if that's original or not.
