While waiting for my Y2D to turn up I've been scouring the net looking for pics of similar guitars to keep me entertained. Now I'm not sure if this is the case, but it looks like a lot of the new Y2Ds coming out now are flame tops, whereas it seemed like previously they mainly had quilt tops. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm hoping all the quilts aren't going on BFRs as I was kinda wanting a quilt Y2D.

I've sold a few y2d's and they have all been quilts. I'm actually looking for a flamed purple sunset if Beej is listening...;)

Butch if I hadn't bought mine at the same you bought yours I would be all over that. That is one beautiful axe. Mine is a quilt with a lot of sick birdseye on the neck but I'm really liking that flame top.

Best of luck on selling it. All I would say though is be patient and get what you expect for it....don't settle for less. It may just be me but I believe the second hand guitar buying market has seemed to slow down quite a bit over the past few months and I think a lot of guys are parting with their axes for a lot less than what they were in the spring or last year.
