Made the final payment online while in NYC; balance showing $0 today!

How and what does that have to do with EB basses...you can figure that out for yourselves.

I hear Poppa still needs new shoes...:D

Congratulations, sir James. It's a good feeling, isn't it?

My Honda's been paid off for about a year now. I don't miss that monthly crap.

That's right...I'm going to enjoy the extra $218 in my pocket (Karen and I split both car payments); and yes, there will be a beer or two more in my diet! :D

I'll wait a couple of months or so before placing a Bongo order; want to pay off some smaller credit debts (Music123, etc...); rest assured, though, I will get my HS DG B4 before too long!

Cool thing is, I bought the Dakota with the intent of keeping it for ten years (I'm 6 into it now), and it's got more than enough life left in it (I baby it as much as my basses).

I may just throw a new engine/trannie in it if/when necessary...it's a lot cheaper than financing a new one! Plus, after a long gig, it's nice and comfy to settle into for the (sometimes) long drive home.

James, whatever you do, make sure you snag something by the time the warm weather returns. BP might need a new pair of those flops with the bottle opener on the bottom. :D

I actually got my latest bass (Fender Aerodyne Jazz; straight out of the box) at GC NYC 14th St.; good service there, I must admit.

But, back to the basses...I want to order my next Bongo so that the only hands on it are the EB factory workers and Dude's (licked for no extra charge).

Congrats James!

I bought a new Pilot last year and absolutely expect it to last beyond the payments. In four years I'll know EXACTLY how you feel! ;)

It does kick ass, knowing the bank doesn't own your baby anymore!

I just bought 2 more pairs One black and one brown......I wore them to a stuffy golf party last night and was opening beers for the old farts who wish they had the seeds to wear them.

For some-odd reason, I'm picturing Caddyshack...with you as Al Czervik serving beers to a bunch of Judge Smails!

And who would our 'Carl' be...?
