Here is another incredible example of yet another stunning bass by the Best Bass Maker in the World. Ernie Ball Music Man.

This was another Employee bass, this bass was 1 of 200 made especially for Japan. These basses we're only sold in Japan.

I believe this too be a Gun Smoke Silver, matching head stock, Strings Through the Body and yes the famous 2 band Pre Amp. Weighs in at 6.7 Pounds.
This Bass Smokes any 70's or early 80's Rays I own or have ever owned to date.

One fine example of just how Ernie Ball took this Company and ran with it. Thank You Ernie Ball For Purchasing Music Man Back in 1984 You have changed the bass world forever and we thank you.

Dave, I missed the post where you introduced yourself or when BP introduced you or whatever, so I don't know your background, but I'm impressed with your collection. Is there a website that has pics of all these great MM instruments you've been posting?

Im just a Bass Player of 37 years, im 46 years old and owned a Huge Vintage fender collection and been playing Music man basses since my first Sept 1976 Music man stingray bass.

But completely fell in love with what Ernie Ball Has done for and too the bass, I now own 79 Stingrays, bongos and Sterlings as my last count recalls.

Im not an employee of Ernie Ball but im a damn good Fan and just love these basses period.

The last time I remember being this knocked out over any bass was when my father handed down me a 1958 Blonde Maple Neck Fender Precision Bass at the age of 9.

That changed my life just as Ernie Ball re-did when they purchased Music Man back in 1984.

For me and all the different bass companies i've had the pleasures of playing or owning, Nothing does it for me like the EB Music man Basses i play night after Night.

Hey Mark no there isn't, I used to be more into Advertising them but it got too the point i was getting over 50 and up emails aday with questions etc. I just didn't have the time, then people got upset so i stopped posting.

As it is now i answer over 30 emails aday just on stingrays alone and that keeps me busy along with my everyday things i do.

That calendar idea is great. It probably wouldn't be hard to do with a service like cafepress. I don't know if they do calendars, but I'll bet there's some service that does.
 
Thanks Dave for another fantastic look at your collection. That is one fine looker there and at 6.5 pounds I would say that alone makes it premium. If there is any EB bass that is more primo than the other that is.
