It's definitely trans, but I don't know the name.

Believe it or not, its new. There are a lot of stores on the 'skirts of Atlanta that have new in the box discontinued colors like trans purple, silver sparkle, and even one stratus blue sparkle...

Its Atlanta Music Brokers on Roswell Rd. I actually called and checked on it right before I got the "pumpkin ray," so as far as I know its still there. Theres also Everything Musical all the way down in Columbus. They've got some silver, stratus blue, and gremlin green sparkle stuff VERY reasonably priced I'm told...

Surprised to see the reference to Everything Musical. Thats right down the street from my house. In fact they have 3 sparkle basses in stock right now. 2 Rays, a silver sparkle, and stratus blue sparkle, matching headstock. And a gremlin green sparkle Sterling. All of them are stunning. To me, lava pearl looks like pumpkin orange, so its been dubbed the pumpkin ray. Now if I can just get the $ to get that stratus blue sparkle in Columbus to match my other one ***evil grin***

A guy contacted me via my Website. He has a nice solid purple Sterling 1995.

I'm trying to get a fix on the colour name.

But of course, I have a "certain" picture host which plays up with regular certainty. When it decides to behave, I'll certainly paste a pic here
