How "stratty" does it sound? I wonder how much difference the toploader-bridge does make.

Did you have to do some routing underneath the pickguard?

I think it sounds sorta stratty. Not exactly, but in the ballpark. I have strats but they just don't play as good as this dang MM!
I will probably replace the Area 61. It's a little screechy. That's what it's all about.
Yes, I did have to rout away that little lump in the middle. I knew I would have to, but it's a small price to pay. I really like the stripped down-ness of this.

Wow Don- that came out really well.

Thanks! The first pickguard that Chandler cut had the middle pickup route cut incorrectly. I was really bummed because it took 3 weeks to get it. I emailed them and the emailed back IMMEDIATELY. We figured out the issue and they literally cut a new one and put it in the mail in less than 30 minutes. I got the new guard in 2 days! How about that?????
I couldn't decide where I wanted to put the add/solo switch so I had them drill both holes. I just put a plug in there and it'll leave me future options.
