As you can tell by my screen name, Im a huge King's X fan. I also love DT, Moke, Galactic Cowboys, Mustard Seeds, and other similar bands. You guys like any of these bands....

I've heard of Kings X, but as for the rest of bands i cant say I have.

I've heard of all of those bands, but haven't heard some of them.

I will say, however that I am a big fan of Dream Theater. Though I will never play as good as JP, that little SOB, I respect him fully and am envious of his skill.

Now I'm bitter.

King's X are cool. Ty Tabor is a Great guitar player. I have heard a couple of Galatic Cowboy's songs from around 1993. The other bands I have not heard of. Have you heard of Opeth? Another guitar player that I think is under rated is Jim Matheos of Fates Warning.

Tabor/Kings X are all right - I'd go see them if they came to town but I'm not pulling a road trip for them... Petrucci and Dream Theater, however - I've driven more than 700 Miles in one trip to see them play

Yeah, contemplating a trip to Vegas on the 28th of July to see them and Queensryche...could be fun.
