First post in the forum, so apologies if anything is out of order.
I want to install some EB strap locks and have a question about which bit to use. In the EB online video the tech recommends using a 7/64" bit to drill into the guitar to accommodate the strap lock screws.
What if you live in an area where imperial-sized bits are not available? The closest metric bits are 2.5 and 3mm, whereas the diameter of a 7/64" bit is 2.8.
It's better to drill a bit smaller, right? Has anyone else encountered this? Thank you for your feedback!
