Yes it does....it's a brutal brutal disease. I've watched a loved one succumb to cancer...it's heartbreaking.

I believe there was a lot of confusion yesterday. It was reported/rumored that he had passed away on Saturday, but apparently his wife had responded and said that he was alive but not doing very well. And as we know now, he passed this morning.

+1 my friend. I've seen family members and friends battle it, too. Heartbreaking is an understatement.

Truly a sad day for all lovers of talented musicians. Dio was the soundtrack to my teenage years. Was always a class act and a gentelman. Always delivered the goods live.
