Strings not long enuff...help!

Hey, i really like the strings, but i have a squier affinity series guitar (pretty bad, but meh), and the high E string that came in a pack of regular slinky is too short, it doesnt even reach the peg.... is this supposed to happen???

I'd assume from the pictures that I've viewed of this guitar that it should have fit fine, and that you got a "freak" string, one of those out of about 1,000,000 that, pardon the pun, missed the cut and was not the correct length. Though were they all the same length when you pulled them out of the package?

Should be able to swap these out at your retailer, or just get a new high E from them to check it out. Just my offering on the subject...

Thx fer the reply, and u were right, it was a "freak" string. I bought another pack and all the strings were fine, but ivve yet to see ive i can swap the 'bad" pack fer another.

Ps: All the other strings in the pack with the freak E were fine.

Nah, wouldn't worry about swapping the whole set out. Just take the freak E to your retailer and have them swap you with a single E string, and all should be good. If all of the others were cool, then you need not worry about them!
