Help! VP JR Tuner screen is blank. :(

The screen just quit. It worked before but now, nothing. It’s correctly powered (>150mA) and I haven’t even plugged an instrument cable into it yet.
Is there a way to reset this, outside of rebooting?
Is mine just defective?

They’re just telling me that for $100 they’ll replace the screen.

When did you buy it? If it's new you'd be covered under warranty. If you are out of the warranty period, no matter what the product is nobody has an obligation to replace it for free. Sucks, but that's how things work.
