I just received my new Radiance Red JP6 and I have 2 questions:

!. Has anyone had experience restringing from 10's to 09's...everything else I have is strung that way, and I would like to stay consistent...What are the ramifications if I do? Or is this something not to be atttempted for some reason?

2. How do you conserve the battery power? Is it simply a matter of unplugging the guitar to save the battery, much like a stomp box? Many thanks...

The battery is disconnected when nothing is plugged into the input jacks.

Switching from 10's to 9's may involve leveling the trem, tweaking the truss rod, and /or re-doing the intonation. You won't know which or how many of these until you do it. Some people have switched with no changes needed.

Also, the string height will change. The smaller diameter of the 9's will lower the action a bit.
