Can you double check the serial number? It should be 5 number digits followed by the prefix letter "G".

Hi. What can you tell me about this Luke guitar? Serial number : C23986

This one isn't coming up in the database, is there any chance the serial number could be something different?

Right on the cusp for the comp nut I think (was it 2006?) But I hadn't seen a roasted neck that early. And I'm pretty sure SS frets. So I figured a neck swap.

Joel- this one is honeyburst but has a roasted neck with (I think) SS frets. I'm assuming that wasn't the original neck?

I double checked the database and it originally shipped with a standard Maple neck. It must have been swapped out. The compensated nut was official on all models as of May 26th, 2006 according to our archive. I know they were first used on the limited edition Butter Cream run in 2005 though.
