I wish I could find a black sparkle. That's my all time favorite Luke finish.

Super nice Luke collection
Thanks fellas. I mostly use the Gold with the matching headstock as well as the Starry Night with the matching headstock. B

Wow! Nice one.

Thanks. This guitar has a fabulous sound and plays like a dream. Honestly even better than my 2 previous and fabulous LIII HSS.

It might well be the very best instrument I've ever owned : there is something very alive in it.

But, boy, do I dislike its colour.

She'll soon end up at Marty Bell for a refinish. No sparkle this time but translucent... What would you guys recommend?

Jason , I hope you are not serious about refinishing such a nice top . If it's plain black that's ok , but quilted maple ? Sorry for hijacking the thread but I really like your Luke as it is . Peace :)

Just a thought - did you check with EBMM if the wood is stained or if the all color is in the finish? If the wood is stained, it's be a shame to pay someone to go to all that trouble to strip the poly only to have to re-do it all over again.
