Nobody has said a Petrucci yet, so that's my guess :)

AND I'm close enough to have a pint if I win :D

And we have a winner!!!!!

Many congrats Azzy! Hop on down the A1 and name your hostelry!

I'm now the proud owner of a 2006 LE JP with piezo.

Hang on....here comes a pic....

And here she is, relaxing in some Autumn sun today.

Fantastic guitar. I picked this up used from Pete after a US customer changed their mind and sent it back to him! Crazy fooooo!

My first piezo equipped JP and what a useful device that is. Was playing this through my normal gear yesterday with the piezo plugged into an old GK combo (that is pretty good for clean sounds), and how nice it is to be able to skip between the two sounds or indeed blend the two together. Mind you it shows up my shocking technique, normally covered with oodles of distortion and reverb!!!

Also, here's a shot with the lovely Autumn Red I picked up from ernie a month or two back. A nice pair I'm sure you'll agree!

Azzy - I stand by my commitments, let me know when you and Tiffles are 'in the smoke' and I'll make good my offer!:D

Nice guesses from everyone else. Look out for my next super-exciting competition!!!!:D

Oh and the long story (cut short) is that we thought this one had dissapeared on route. Another guitar shipped the same time arrived in the UK quite quickly. This one - nothing for nearly a month. So just after Pete had refunded my money a letter arrives on my mat from Parcelforce asking for the import duty/VAT etc! One quick trip to Acton and there it was. I think this must be a front contender for the 'Transaction With The Most Emails Involved' award if there ever is one!

Wow! Gold truss-rod adjust wheel and what must be gold plated pole pieces too. What a nice looking Petrucci in all aspects!

Congratulations on the acquisition.. :D

Thanks for all the comments folks. My only dilemma now is that I can really see the potential for the piezo to add more breadth to the band sound live - but being such a fancy beast, I was not really planning to take this one out.

So, I'm now thinking about getting another less fancy, preferably dinged already gigging piezo equipped JP!

It never ends does it?????:D

Wow :Bungo!!!!!

I dont know what Im more impressed with....you getting to have pints with Azzy and Tiffles (which makes you a vewry lucky guy..these girls are hysterical take good care of them!) The Beautiful guitar, or the fact that it is sunny in England.

As Dargie said we kind of butied the 2006 LE with a lot of other stuff and these I thnik are going to be very rare and valuable in the future.

If there are London pints going on then I need to know about them!

If you are around on Oct 23rd then John Mayer is playing at the Forum Kentish Town
