I've got built in insulation. :(

But, you bring up a good point--what zip code should I use for weather.com when I am packing this evening?

75061.

Local weather says mid 60's in the day and mid to upper 40's at night. Maybe some rain late Saturday or Sunday morning. As dry as it's been here, we don't put too much faith in the rain predictions though.

I will be going too, so if Larry's car is full I can pick up a couple at the Harvey if need be. We shall coordinate on Fridat night.

I dont understand what is going on wit hall the bandwagon jumping for markbass... a couple months ago all I heard about on these forums amp wise was GK.

I've played mark bass also guys. The weight was extremely impressive. But that wouldnt factor much into a purchase for me... other than that the tone is only good... it is comparable to other high end amp manufacturers. The price is horrendously high.

In europe Mark bass isn't expensive, and I don't like GK:D
I think the SD800 is a real killer amp, at least as good as my AG500. Didn't even know there was a mark bass brand when I bought the Aggie though...

As for the "band wagon" I personally think it might ave something to do with the fact that it was mark Bass who built the audiophile EBMM Bass amps? We all love EBMM, right?

You're right Markbass is relatively cheap in Europe - you can buy an LMII for less than £450 and for comparison - a GK1001RBII for about £100 more.

But generally speaking, we pay a fortune for gear over here.
