Closer to getting my first BALL!!

Hey!

I had placed an order a while ago on a Black Cherry Burst Axis and I just got news from the dealer that it's already in construction! Only around 3 weeks to go!

I'm really, psyched about it!!!

Actually, I was wondering what they're doing with it every day... ;-). Like, ok, today we choose the neck and body, tomorrow we'll set the hardware, now it's time for the finish, or, now it's time to do the frets and so on.

Ok, it's maybe a bit too much but it would be great to have a day by day picture of how the guitar is evolving!

Can't wait!!

I'll make sure to post some pics, too. Actually I didn't see any black cherry burst guitar when I was choosing the finish (although I'm sure someone must have one), so maybe it'll help some others while choosing their finish.

How do you get an "in construction" notice?

In my case the dealer called it a build notice I guess EB Music Man gives him this.Not sure if he called to ask this or if he is contacted by the company

Seeing those photos again just made me change my mind about the AL I'll someday purchase. I was liking Blue Pearl, but now I think it will HAVE to be Black Cherry Burst. That burst is just incredibly beautiful.

And to think I was hesitating about the finish!! I only saw some basses in BCB but seeing this is really a clincher!! (and kinda makes the wait harder )
