A rosewood necked SR is what I'm dreaming of.
But also I'm thinking about going deeper so a SR5 is getting more and more attractive, blue dawn is a favorite and I'm even warming up to the Bongo so I must get SOMETHING!!!!

Tone block is a slab of wood in the center of the bass... the bridge and pups sit in/on it. There are wings of other body woods on either side. This points to solid finishes, or, really nice wood veneers on top and back. Or a solid mahog body, perhaps in 3 pieces. But I know absolutely nothing. About anything...
