The pickups in HH and HS SR5's and Sterlings are in series on coils 1 and 2, the pickups in Stinrays 4 HH and HS are in paralell, so:

Stingray 4 -------- Paralell
Stingray 5 -------- Series
Sterling ----------- Series

This is only on coils 1 and 2 of two pickups basses.

I don't beleive so. Because if I have both of my SR5s (H, HH) in the first position, they sound VERY similar. I beleive it was Jon from EB (I THINK, not sure) said that they are only wired in parallel.

I don't know how to link to it, but at the sticky named "New 2 PU Bass Switch Functions" check post #66, someone named "drewbixcubed" from Ernie Ball customer service aparently said that. ;)

After comparing the two (SR4 HH and SR5HH), I'd bet the farm that the SR5 HH is wired series on the humbucker coils and the SR4 HH is parallel. To me, it sounded quite obvious (at least in the bridge 'bucker mode). I'd also wager that the HS's are the same on the humbucker wiring.
