Abalone really IS the new tort!

Well thanks to the lovely Beth at EB, my nice new shiny abalone pg arrived today And it looks gorgeous! Can't take proper pics as it gets dark about 3pm here at the moment, but here is the best I could do with what I had:

PHOOOOOOAR!!!!!

It's the only Sterling I've seen in this colour combo and I think it looks just stunning! More pics to follow tomorrow once the sun comes up!

Thanks Pete! I know what you mean about the black - it IS nice, but it's a bit flat, and although I was worried about hating the abalone, I prefer it by a mile! Really brings out the colour and the sparkles

Except of course it's more Sterling-shaped. I'm thinking it would look right nice on that SUB Sterling you've got there.

Azzy bought it for 24 dollars, I think (correct me if I'm wrong), believing it to be abalone (not her fault - bad description from seller).

So anyway, I am not selling it but rather acting as its guardian. If you want it, I think you can just have it, or you can paypal Azzy a little something to make her smile.

Candy Red is a darker shade of Red than Trans Red. I'm not so sure Abalone would look good on Trans Red.
