I for one do not see what everyone is so psyched about with these guitars. I received my Music Man Luke in October after waiting for about 6 months- only to discover it had a twisted neck! Yay! Several emails, letters, and phone calls were made to Music Man and 'Big Poppa' - nothing. Sent the guitar back- nothing. Great- yeah ya gotta love this company. Lots of talk about 'quality control' and how Music Man would not make this kind of mistake. Well, about a month ago a package showed up on my doorstep- it was a Music Man bass- I never ordered a Music Man bass. They only discovered their error after I called them. The mighty and infalable are not so infalable after all. Oh yeah and when helping them sort out the bass mystery I asked them once again if there was anything at all they could do to help with the twisted neck situation- they decided - ummm no they would not help me after all. I should have just kept the bass..... this companies customer service sucks.
P.S. A special thanks alot to customer service rep. Dan McPherson who refused to help me at all with my guitar problem!

Ouch!........I know every one is entitled to a mistake but it doesnt sound like the Guy i talk to to Dan has gone beyond the call of duty ....and i have NEVER been refused anything ....sorry you feel this way about such a great company we know their not perfect but they do seem to care!
i think maybe if u edit your post a bit ,you may actually find a cure for your problem, but to come off as strong as you have here ,your not going to be received very well

I've dealt directly with Dan, as well as others here at EBMM, and they've always taken care of me.

Something here isn't smelling quite right.

Let me get this straight - the factory ships right to your doorstep?

How do I arrange for that kind of service? Funny, I've always had to purchase mine through a dealer. You must be an endorsee then. My bad.

Sorry to hear about the guitar not being right but this sounds absolutely nothing like EBMM, and that's from a consumer/retailer/artist perspective.

I'll wait for BP to give his side of things.

but again, this sounds way out of character for the company that I've dealt with.

I find this story to be highly unlikely. I'm not saying that you are lying, but I have had nothing but positive customer service experiences from Ernie Ball, and especially from Dan. There must be some part of the equation that we are missing?

A bunch of crap. I've gotten responses in MINUTES when I had a question. How many other companies give you access to the big cheese by using a forum? None that I know of.
GuitarTommy, you posted an hour ago...and look how many responses you've already gotten...if you asked nicely like a good boy you would have already had your issue solved, I am sure.

I'll bet it's a one time post.
Not really looking for help.
Maybe doesn't even own a Music Man.

I was getting ready to say (before BP showed up), he shows impeccable timing by posting his complaint when no one from the company can respond.

Will wait for Dan the Man to respond to this one.

Unreal. The idea that we wouldn't replace a bad neck is crazy. The idea that we shipped him a bass is crazier. I am also wondering if this troll even owns an EB/MM instrument.

My my my my......you must not have read the "Freedom of Speech" thread on the bass side.....so....here it goes.

GuitarTommy....I am publicly calling you a LIAR on the forum for the rest of the world to see......you are keyboard commander with no sense of integrity. I question your manhood because a man would not LIE about something like this. You are probably crying (need a tissue...see my sig) because your F**der Strat Pak was set up by your pimply faced punk buddy sitting next to you as you typed that garbage. Go back to your little place under the bridge and try to bully some billygoats. You can't bully us here...not me anyway. Try me...please. So, here is why I am calling you a NO GOOD, GUTLESS, YELLOW BELLIED, SNAKE LOW LIFE LIAR:

Point #1 - EBMM does not deliver straight to anyone's house. The axe goes to the dealer. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #2 - EBMM did not take the bass back....because, they never delivered it to you. They don't ship direct to home addresses. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #3 - EB Customer Service Sucks as stated by you. No, you do. You are caught in a LIE.

Point #4 - Twisted Neck and sent to the factory and not fixed. Bullsh!t...I know IF your dumb a$$ sent it back, Jon would have fixed it and would have gone the extra mile. I know that to be fact as I know you are LYING to be a fact.

Personally, I don't believe you have a Luke, GuitarTommy...seems more like you are a flute player (no disrespect to flute players), but my reasoning is this...you blow....so from here on....you are now FluteTommy.

FluteTommy, you wouldn't happen to be from Boston would you? Not that I have a problem with Boston...just curious. Since you have such major issues with EB and what not, maybe you can tell us (this is called stepping up and being a man) what city do you live in.

FluteTommy, I have a suggestion on how to fix this....go to your mommy's car...get the crowbar out...and remove your head from your rectal region.

FluteTommy...it has been nice chatting with you. FluteTommy if you feel like being a man after taking your Flintstone Vitamins and want to post more garbage....PM me first. That way...we can save the rest of the world from your sniveling, crying and "try to get one over" garbage.

Bye FluteTommy.....

Jon...I was thinking the same thing....funny...

Foggy...I would be a great neighbor....the kids here stay in line and know that they are safe here. I am easy to get along with until someone "jabs" at one of my friends...or several.

However, I have been gone for a bit....I am actually able to get some 'Net time right now for about an hour or two. Hope to be home Saturday.....
