Hello.....I need help with a color

Hello All, I am new to this forum, this is my first post.

I am about to buy my 2nd EB MM StingRay 4 - my first one is black.

I saw Matchbox 20's concert a few years ago, and their bassist, Brian Yale had a StingRay and I cant tell what color it is. Its either Teal Pearl, Blue Pearl, or Carbon Blue Pearl, Im pretty sure its one of those 3, here is a link to its picture please look and see if you can tell exactly what color it is, because thats the only thing Im waiting on to order my new bass.

hey there and welcome to the forum!

i would say that is teal pearl. I thought it might be trans pearl but trans i think has a lighter colour to the pearl, plus in that pic i cant find any evidence of awood grain. Of course i could be wrong as Im no expert.

after seeing those new pics i wouldnt have thought it was trans teal, there is a trans teal at my local music store and it is a much lighter colour. take a look at the link...

Thanks for the pics - beautiful color, but its definatley not the color of the bass in the pics I posted - its gotta be either Teal Pearl, or Blue Pearl

From the first picture that you posted it looks like Blue Pearl to me.

The others look like Trans Teal, but they are hard to see.

To be honest it looks like carbon blue pearl to me.

Lighting really does make a huge difference, especially flash photography. It can lighten the color a whole lot.
