Back again...new SR5!

The shop I work at now has NINE SR5's and I decided to help out and purchase at least one......

I don't know if it is me or what but White EBMM Basses always seem to have the sweet spot dialed in big time. We ordered a few MHS SR5's in 2005 and they did not go over here in Richmond for some reason and I have always dug this bass. SO this one is mine. June 2005, White, MHS RW. I may very well pick up another of the MHS SR5's next month if things go well.

I love SR5's. They are the perfect bass for me because they sound absolutely fabulous when they are set completely flat. Not many basses sound like that to me. I also dig the way they sound with New EB strings. There are few basses that sound just right to me right out of the box.

Kudos to the EBMM team for the three new SR5's we got last week too. Two Naturals and a Honey Burst....all of my favorites and the looks stunning and the Naturals are very light and resonant. One even looks to be a one pc body. I only work in the shop part time on Saturdays so I spend al day in bass lust!

Man, that white is beautiful. I'd get one that color, but I'm kind of afraid to because of all the cigarette smoke in the establishments I play in. Casino gigs are the worst...you can feel the residue clinging to the finish as soon as you uncase your axe.

nice! i got a chance to play Randy's SR5 this weekend and it was a bunch of fun. ive never spent much time with a 5 so it was a great chance to check out the sr5.

My neighborhood music store only carries one SR5
I don't know why they don't sell well at your shop maybe not enough bass players
My favorite colour is also white and I own 91 SR5 inwhite with mint greenish pickguard with birds eye neck and fretboard and its the keeper

NICE! Very cool looking. I like the white ones too...enjoy it.

I had a rehearsal last night and brought one of my "other" basses for a change of pace, and the sound just wasn't there. The SR5 just has it nailed. Funny how that goes!

Beautiful bass, Scott. I don't like non-Bongo matching headstocks with many colors, but white is certainly one of them.

White, tort, and matching headstock is a winning combination in any Musicman variety.
