a horrible dream I had

last night i had this dream that I went on tour with my band, and it was after a show and we hoped off the bus we were on to go into a pub and left all our musical gear on the bus, including in the dream, my 30th.

The when we came back someone had broken into the bus and trashed everything. Not only that, they completely dinted up the body of my 30th and scratched it up, but they stole the neck and the neckplate with the serial number , just to rub salt into the wound.

needless to say it was all very distressing in the dream and the police got involved and i was desperately trying to find my 30th's neck and the chump who stole it so that i could insert the neck up his arse.

and i kept thinking in the dream "damn it! Why didnt i register my basses serial number on the EB forums so the police can track it down on ebay or something.

it was somewhat a releif to wake up at the end of it all and look over to see it sitting in its stand

so has anyone else had dreams about their basses or is it just me?

thats a sucky dream. ive had horrible dreams about work (seen code in my sleep - sad, i know). those are bad enough but dreaming of my favorite MM getting trashed.... now, that would suck

When it's not teeth I tend to dream about keywords and writing creative for Google - I'm told I talk about it in my sleep...which is worrying!

I've heard this mentioned before, so I decided to do an internet search to find out more. It is apparently a very common dream, though thankfully I've never experienced it. Google it and see if anything applies to your current situation.

actually this is weird but just last night i did dream about my bass. i dreamt i flew home. forgot my luggage so i could get my bass and bring it back. it was so weird and real that i was surprised when i woke up that i was still in london. now i feel like a freak.

Don't know if it's an English thing, but I'm half-Irish and have this dream all the time. With me though, it's not that they're falling out but that I'm able to actually wiggle them around and pull them out with my fingers. The most realistic dreams I've ever had - I wake up and for a minute I really believe that my teeth are missing.

I remember someone telling me that the dream has to do with sexual or romantic unfulfillment (in all seriousness, as far as I know - don't mean to be inappropriate here ).

When I was in high school I used to talk in my sleep.. in Latin. Freaked my mother out! She thought I was posessed! It was probably just the 4 years of Latin classes seeping into my subconscious.. at least I hope that's all it was!

I used to ask her to write down what I was saying so I could translate it when I woke up.. but she never did.
