German engineering at it's finest! Perhaps the seller's grandfather was a Tiger crew member, and has passed his views regarding under-engineered components to the younger generation. The quick release battery compartment is also a fantastic upgrade!

Okay, I need a translation.

Courtesy of Babelfish .....

You offer 4 Saiter with strong sound on a used ERNIE BALL MusicMan StingRay. The bass is also older meanwhile at least 13 years or. Since I at that time bought the bass used and no original purchase receipt over it have, I can only estimate the age. The bass has an active 3-Band Klangreglung and the standard MusicMan Humbucker. Both runs perfectly.
The previous owner provided the string guidance (down) with stronger screws. Thus the bass is no more in the original condition. At the same time however the pressure is increased on the korpus and the resonance of the strings by the wood is increased. Listens to it you gladly to the sample (in Wuppertal) before the purchase. It is worthwhile itself! : -) I played the bass in former times live and in the studio. Therefore small Macken came in the lacquer and the chrome parts, as in the photos is to be seen, to the bass. Unfortunately the metal plate over the battery box is missing. I had druebergeklebt there always provisionally an adhesive strip. For that, which it disturbs, which can itself surely buy the plate in addition in the business. Otherwise it is to be still said that the Pickup magnet started somewhat, which does not impair however the sound by any means.
Since I transferred meanwhile to a 5-Saiter bass, I would like to sell the StingRay now heavy heart. Who thus on the search for a very good Live instrument is, to which here should offer. All different, the optics is more important to which than the sound, which should let it rather remain. The bright places in the pictures are reflections of the flashlight... Write email for better pictures or with questions simply.
All details in the overview: - year of construction approx.. Beginning of 90's - 4-Saiter - StingRay - Erlenkorpus - maple neck - Palisander griffbrett with 22 federations - 3-Band EQ - color: Vintage Sunburst
Because of your-genuine: With the delivery of a requirement you explain you in agreement to do without a warranty with gebrauchtwaren. A conversion, a price reduction or a return are expressly impossible. Who hereby not agrees, should not offer. The article as sold as it shown is here. I carry the Ebay fees. The costs of the dispatch within Germany amount to 20, - - euro and carry the buyer. Terms of payment: By vorkasse or bar during collection.
And now still: MUCH FUN WHEN OFFERING!!!

Looking at that photo, it's easy to see why there is no buckle rash on the rear of the body - the bolts protrude just enough to prevent the bass from getting any nearer than half an inch from the belt buckle.

The "crotch rash", however, must be murder . . . . .
