Hello Everyone,

Glen here, I am the Music Man rep up here in the Great white north of Ontario Canada.

I took my camera out with me recently on a trip to some local Musicman dealers and snapped a few pics I'd like to share with you all.

I would just like to say that we have some great musicman dealers up here that really get behind the product so check out Canada's Wall of Balls!

I've listed the dealers name and website if any of you out there would like to contact them for more information

(I kept the guitar pics on this thread and I'll post the bass pics on the Bass forum)

Walls of Balls 1 The 12th Fret in Toronto newindex,
Walls of Balls 7&8 Cosmo Music,Richmond Hill Welcome to Cosmo Music

Also for anyone interested... in the Greater Toronto Area I will be hosting in conjuction with EBMM and Steve's Music a Dave LaRue Bass clinic on April 5th at 2:30pm at Steve's Queen st location.

Thanks G.

Looks great Glen!

I don't know if you remember me, it's Adam from Long & McQuade Steeles. I spoke to the guys there today, and apparently they spoke to you, quoting that the new ETA on the BFR's are now September-October! :( I hope its not that long!

On a side note, there may not be a wall full of balls, but there a really nice AL and JP in stock at Steeles.

Sweet!

I knew that was the 12th Fret just by looking at the pic.
Though, last time I was there they only had maybe half that many balls.

Ah, Mr. Booth. Nice to see you on the forums. You and I have a friend in common. I've known Mike McAvan for about 10 years now. I try to get down to the Fret as often as I can to see him. They always have a nice selection of Balls in stock.:D

Hey Scott,

Yes Mike is a great guy and a Music Man player himself (can't you tell!). I'm finding more and more store employee's buying Musicman guitars for themselves which is a good thing. As one customer commented to me " they are like potato chips you just can't have one!"

The 12thfret have always and continue to have a great "MM Guitar collection" but check out Cosmo Music (I couldn't post all the guitars they have as the server wouldn't allow me to post any more) they are really getting behind the guitars and have at least 10 in stock, also the Arts Music store in NewMarket Welcome to The Arts Music Store in Newmarket Ontario 905-898-7164 and The Guitar Shop in Mississauga The Guitar Shop , Macaulays Music in Cambridge MacAulay's Music - Cambridge, Ontario are just but a few of the growing number of EBMM dealers who are really pushing the guitars as well as the Basses.

Wish i lived in Canada! I like the look of those AL's in the corner....

Every time I see a picture of one of your guitars taken outside in your yard it makes me want to move to Australia........the only thing better than playing an AL would be playing an AL in a place where there is warmth (I write as I look out at the snow still in my yard) !!

Nice pics Glen! Wow, I didn't realize Cosmo was a MM dealer. That was my go-to store when I was young ... grew up in the 'burbs.

Love to see the LaRue clinic- do we have to sign up with Steve's, or just show up?

Hi Glen,
keep em coming North!
I just discovered the world of MM's yesterday and it's thanks to the Cosmo guys.
I was at Cosmo and The Arts Music Store on Sunday checking out the Balls and I have to admit, until the Cosmo guys steered me towards a JP6, I had no idea I even wanted a Music Man (I was looking for an Ibanez).
After a few minutes I was completely hooked by the playability and styling - can't believe I didn't know more about the brand before. The Cosmo guys did a great job - maybe I can drag my wife in and they can explain why I need "another $%@# guitar!". I'm not having much luck...

Any idea when the BFR's will make it up here?

On a general note, now that I have discovered the MM universe (and with it, this forum), I am amazed by the loyalty of the players, the consistanty positive industry reviews, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback. I haven't seen feedback this consistant with any other brands. Of course now I've played one, I think I see why.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Fenders, but I can't help but feel I've been missing out on something.....

Hey Glen, just wanted to say you have some great dealers in the T.O area!! I ordered my AL from The Arts just last week. If it wasnt for them I probably would have a Tele instead. The guys there and at 12th Fret love your guitars and recommend them highly!! Just wanted you to know.

i live in ny, the queens area, and i have travelled to many cities, but the BEST selection of music man guitars is a place that me and my friends shop in is royal music in merrick ny.
they have to have 100 models in stock!!!(gtrs and basses)
check out their store...
Royal Music | Guitar Bass Keyboards Drums Superstore! | 516-377-8000
i've bought 4 mms from them over 8 years, and they know their stuff.
i deal with either corey or bill. they run the place.
they have a store in brooklyn too, but it's easier for me to take the train to long island... the store is right across from the lirr station.
i'm pretty sure that their web site has pics of the inventory- i've only checked out the site a couple of times. they told me that they were working on it because it was a new site for them. but i've seen the gbase pages and that's why i still go there.
i hate going to gc because those dudes do'nt know anything.
i once waited three weeks to get my guitar set up from gc.
at royal, i waited 1 day!!! and the set up was great.
i'm pretty sure that they are a mom and pop shop.
anyway i know that steveliny shops there.

MeanAx Music recently got their first shipment of MM guitars. They got a few Basses(including a S.U.B. bass) and a killer all black silhouette(black pickguard, rosewood neck and matching headstock. Anyone in the Oshawa area should check them out. Dave is a great guy to deal with.

Hey Glen-

I was just at Steve's. Nobody seems to know anything about the clinic. No signs, not on the web site and none of the reps in the store know about it.

Might want to give them a heads-up.
