That is just wicked cool!!!
Thanks for the info!
:D
Beach,

Your guitar left the factory on 9/09/03 on its way to Hanover Strings in New Hampshire, where, I am guessing, you bought it! Nice Piece!

This guitar was on their wall on the Scion Tour in 2005 when I visited their store. Check it out: http://www.ernieball.com/scion/main.html Click "Check the map", then click on the dot that says "Concord/Hanover" then scroll to image # 7. Your guitar, before it was your guitar, is in the middle of the screen. How cool is that!!

I finally purchased my first Music Man guitar ever: a beautiful black Luke II with matching headstock!
Serial number is G33043.

When did you guys give birth to this baby? (Just curious!)

Thanks in advance!

Axel,

Your new guitar (congratulations, by the way), is an Axis Sport with MM-90 pickups and a standard bridge built on February 7, 2001. This is apparently a very special guitar! It is listed as black with light and medium green stripes. The original customer is not listed but this one of about 20 of this type built.

Very interesting guitar. Pics if you would on this thread: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/1654-official-pics-o-my-guitar-thread.html

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,
many thanks for the Info ! ! !
I bought this guitar in pretty much "like new" condition from John Grönlund. He is the guitarist of the Swedish Band Willowtree who won the 2001 EMERGENZA competition, if I'm not completely mistaken - the battle-of-the-bands European branch. I don't exactly know whether he won that guitar for best guitarist or they got it for the best band, but it is one of the custom colored EBMM EMERGENZA 2001 winners guitars.
Yeah, sure I'll post some new pics. Will take a couple of days...

Thanks again and all the best

Hi to everybody!

Since October 2006 I am a very lucky owner of the beautiful
new JP6 Carbon Blue Pearl Piezo with SN G33133 (DOB  )

It's official, I am dumb. Or even dumber

Couple of days ago I took a look at my JP6 metal plate with S# and I could not believe how I did such a mistake couple of months ago: serial number of my JP6 is G33138 (not G33133) :(

I had to be so excited, when brought this wonderful guitar home, that I read the last digit wrong and it was "stored" in my memory for a couple of months :D

Can I kindly request checking again a DOB of my guitar?
I would be very appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for welcoming me back, but it's actually not necessary, because I am reading this forum almost every single day :)
It's just that I don't have so much to write :D

And I promise to post some photos of my beautiful guitar :)
