Well I can't tell you what you should charge, but for me it would depend on a couple things. How much would you want to pay to rent an amp? Are you friends? Can you trust him with your gear? Last but certainly not least, are there any knobs that could be bent? 
If I knew someone well , I wouldn't charge that much.

All good questions. We're friendly, but not friends. He's a customer of mine (I'm a Bose rep on the side, and he bought two systems...he needs a third on occasion).
If he were a close friend, I wouldn't charge a thing.
I have no idea what I'd pay to rent an amp. I guess it'd depend on what the going rate was...that's why I ask in the first place.

I once rented a SWR 4x10 cab and a Trace Elliot head for $50 bucks. I got the dude's number from someone at my local music shop. It was shady. I didn't have cash on me, he took a check, had me make it out to his dad, and a year later still never cashed it. I'm sure he lost it somewhere.

Most music stores have hire gear. I'm sure if you're a customer of the store they'll cut you a good deal. You could always score a rig from one of the retailers who offer a no-questions-asked-money-back 7 day trial.

Very cool product - my band and I have been using it since 2003.
Andrew - charge him $50. Maybe more if he is travelling with it and won't return it for a couple of days.

GUitar Center giving you 30 days to make sure the product is perfect for you is one of the things that they never get credit for....and then there are guys who abuse it and it will go

Well, it's easy. You plug your bass in, dial up an EQ preset appropriate for it, and it sounds great.
The same unit is also my vocal monitor.
And vocal main.
The concept is that you have one amplifier/speaker system that does everything you need, and ideally you give each member of the band one of them (though you can share if you want).
It replaces PA, and stage monitors, and backline amps. It's small, light, and really, really easy to transport and set up.
Here's my band's entire pile of equipment...there is nothing else aside from mics and a couple of drum machines. You're looking at 2500 watts of amplification total. It all fits in the back of my Ford Focus.
We have four of the woofer modules hooked to one of the systems only because we use a drum machine and you need it for the kick. When I'm playing with a live drummer I use just one pole and two woofers.
Here's a recording of the setup, done the same day that the photo was shot. I put a Zoom H4 recorder stage right, next to the flutist's mic stand. It was about 12-15 feet from my tower, which is stage left.

That's about what I was thinking. He might want to rent the Packlite and two additional B1s...I'm thinking I should rent that separately for maybe $20.
