I guess that's the unfortunate reality. Most DT songs that have become singles have had "radio" edits. They all kind of sound like that. I think it was pretty well-done for the necessary constraints.

I didn't like the editing job, mainly because they cut the guitar scream

I still love the song though.

Poor JR only being shown like 3 times,

Ugh I hate the radio edit, but love the video direction. The darkness, and the ants thing is cool!

radio edits sure suck. Ive never heard the final Sultans of Swing solo on the radio EVER. Or the whole Sweet Child O Mine, annoying when i'm in the car and have no cd's or ipod!!

One DJ over here always plays Sultans...... all the way through.

He's also played the ENTIRE live version from ALCHEMY .... best version ever !

I'm really missing the transition into JP's solo. It's a shame they've cut out that part. That's one of my favorite parts of the song and with that part cut out, the tempo change sounds really unnatural

I love how JP freaks out though, regardless of the edit. It pissed me off too, but its still a cool video, and its still DT, so I can't really complain. I'm glad JP grew his hair back out, he looks like a beast.

Hmm, now that I realize it, DragonForce's Through the Fire & Flames got pretty much a full length music video and crazy high production values...I'm fairly certain RoadRunner could've give DT the full (or really close) length. Either that or my memory is fading in my ripe old age...

It's still amazing to see them promote DT so much, though!

I think the video is pretty cool. JP definately looks beast-ish.
Only things I noticed, the guitars weren't plugged in. Not really a problem but I do think it makes it look a bit fake....And the other thing tat I didnt like was the fact that JP straightened his hair. I mean, why? It looks cooler the way he usually has it.

They did catch the chaos element in the video ;)
