Found this for sale locally...after all this time. I've been looking for a couple years now. After spending 2 hours cleaning it I rate it a 9.5. Nothing special about the wood figure. It sounds and plays killer...EMG pups - can you believe it?!?! Very fast action..the "V" in the neck was not as pronounced as I had expected. Actually it reminds me of the Morse model. I had quite a blast playing around with Octavarium on this thing tonight.

IMO it's the Holy Grail of Musicman guitars. Enjoy!

That's really nice, I wish my Luke was that colour! I think that the 85 could be a little better, maybe it's better in mahogany guitars, but the SLV's, oh man they are the best. There's nothing you can't do with those pups, here's to owning the Holy Grail of musicman guitars!

I thought either that or Candy. I questioned it because of the lighting.

The lighting was very bad...I took that shot at 1am after a couple drinks In person it's a very, very dark red color. I'm very surpised how good the EMG pups sound in this thing.

Friday I'm taking it to Norman OK for a PLEK job. Playability should be near insane after that's done.

Maybe it's time for a BFR Petrucci...
