Joey Harrington is with the Falcons now? Maybe he will do well there, he's very underrated...

You really think the 49ers are coming around this year? I hope so :D

Seems like since Steve Young left it's been a downhill slide...

All of you other southern folks ( I know you're out there.). Who do you think is going to take the SEC championship this year? Of course I believe Auburn has the ability to take it but if not them, then i'd like to see LSU take it.

Does anyone know if Olajubutu will be with Arkansas this coming year? I'm not a big Arkansas fan but could see him going to the NFL.

I say LSU or Auburn out of the West. The East is up in the air right now, IMO. Florida lost a lot. South Carolina might surprise some folks. Overall SEC Champ, I say LSU or couse. ;)

Not sure about Olajubutu, but I know who they do have back. McFadden! I'll be glad when he goes pro.

Off season drama, Al Davis' annual State of the Raidahs press conference and once again we are a force to be reckoned with (at least before any actual football is played). Pass me another cup of that silver and black kool-aid. I'm thinking .500 this year.

I'll be happy with either.

As long as Alabama doesn't win. :p

Growing up along the Gulf Coast in MS, I was always a Saints fan.

Well, perhaps 'fan' is too strong a word for some of those decades.

I hope they do well this year (again). Along the way, my poor, misguided father was a huge admirer of Frank Gifford, so in my house, we had the Secret Cult of New York Giant Fanatics.

In Ocean Springs, Mississippi. So we kept it quiet.

As fate would have it, I live in Dallas. Imagine how hard it was for me to see Parcells on the Cowboys sidelines. I'm certainly glad that nightmare is over.

I just enjoy watching good teams, good football. If the Saints and Giants fold up and go home early, we'll still get some good play from the Colts and New England and the Packers.

Hah, just kidding about the Packers, of course.

:D

Here's to a good football season without Michael Vick. Baseball, with all the scandal and rumors and nastiness, has finally become a wash for me. The NBA season was EXCELLENT, though! (Go Spurs!)

Have I mentioned how much I detest the Cowboys?
