My perfect guitar would be an AL w/ H-S-H, no pickguard, full floating JP trem, and rosewood fretboard. I know you said just one, but I couldn't help myself.

There's always one!!;)
Nah I know it's hard - but I just kinda want one mod per guitar - otherwise it turns into what EB guitar would you like to see...

I can see what it's like being a moderator now!!!

O.K., if you're gonna twist my arm, full floating JP trems available on all models. There, I said it.

Silo Special with clear or no pickguard, or even something that only covers the cavities but still shows off the rest of the body.

Mahogany bodied maple topped semi-hollow Axis with f-hole, rosewood peizo bridge (i.e. acoustic style but string through body) and a coil tapped mini-humbucker in the neck position.

Tough time filling in the 4 week holiday eh Spud? ;)

Just one? Hmm, I guess it would have to be an oil rubbed body (on the guitar!!!:D)

I must admit to doing jack sh*t Monday.
Yesterday I spent some time with a Jeweller buddy of mine - mulling over the idea of solid gold / silver trem knobs and switch selector knobs for my BCB and LEAL (why? -because he can - send me ya scrap gold !!!!) He got one of his mates around to try out my EB's and he was sooo impressed.
Missed Phil Campbell from Motorhead who calls at the shop.

Today I fixed the crank on my sons bike and fixed a door in the house. Washed the pans did the house work just b4 the darling wife came home HA!

Holiday !!!! ;)

Your not playing by the rules - one mod only per guitar.

black binding would work.....
I realized there are photos of the proto w/o the binding around (I'm sure someone has a better photo) - I love it.

Well, I've been made redundant, so I'm filling my days between interviews surfing on here and doing last minute things before the other half gets in.

Makes it look like you're busy that way :D

My "one" modification would be a rearrangement of the electronics on the axis w/piezo. Specifically:
-magnetic pup selector on an angle like a st**t
-volume and tone in line at the same angle as the switch with the piezo volume moved slightly to the rear
-magnetic/piezo selector moved to the upper bout
Aesthetically it might be be quite as neat as stock BUT IMHO, a lot more practical.

I'll take a JP Double Neck. Does that count?

If not, chrome knobs for the JP, but with the same shape.
