Lets throw in the works! Don't say stuff like: "My JP6 is already my dream guitar" even if it is true.:p

Imagine you are given this one chance to have your guitar built for you by EBMM to your exact specs. The wood is a canvas. What would you paint on it?;)

I'd take this:
  • Silhouette base shape (Not the Silo Special shape)
  • 2 piece light weight Alder Body (3lbs if possible)
  • Bolt-On construction (No point in neck pocket)
  • John Petrucci forearm cutaway
  • SSS configuration
  • Sustainiac Neck Pickup/Driver Single Coil size White
  • Kinman AVn56 Middle Pickup White
  • Kinman AVn69b Bridge Pickup White
  • Jumbo frets
  • Piezo equipped standard bridge
  • 1 Piece Quarter-Sawn heavily flamed maple neck, JP6 Neck Profile/Shape
  • No inlays except for 12th fret (2 Abalone dots by the side), but with side-neck markers
  • Unpainted Headstock
  • Bone nut
  • Locking Tuners
  • Gold hardware
  • White Pickguard
  • White knobs
  • Master Magnetic Volume
  • Master Magnetic Tone
  • Piezo Volume
  • 5 Way Selector Switch
  • Thin coated Metallic Black finish (EBMM's metallic paints are the best in the industry!!!)

Hopefully I'll be able to have this made one day... heh.

Hold on.... (looking around to make sure Jimmy-jengas isn't around)

  • Left handed JP guitar. 6 string, 7 string, hell, a 2 string. I don't care! Any color, even UPS brown, hot pink, whatever. PLEASE!

Hey, he asked me Tim. I couldn't contain myself.

Mine would be something like this:

  • BFR JP6, Rubyburst with quilt top and matching headstock
  • Birdseye maple neck, rather than painted (sorry BP, I just love the way the birdseye looks on my existing JP6 neck and wouldn't want to hide it under paint!)
  • Regular JP6 hardware, plus World Domination Mode toggle switch
  • Special price for me: $0.01 :D
  • Oh, and as a special bonus, a 20th Silo shipped along with it at no extra cost

I think that would take care of it.

Strat's suck

I have just picked up my fifth MM. And there is only one thing I can
think of to make it PERFECT. I have been through at least 15 Strats
in my life and didn't like 14 of them.
Everyone I listen to plays a Strat. My new Albert with MM90's has the
sound I have always been looking for. Ever since I met SRV in 1982 and
later married Reese Wynans' sister, I have been on the hunt.
My Albert is Tobacco Sunburst with a white pearloid PG and white
MM90's. What set's it apart is that the knobs and Vibrato end are
black. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is the Vintage
Tremolo that only divebombs. If it had a Floating Trem, it would
be the perfect guitar.

Big Poppa's all rosewood 20th Silo left handed!!!!
or Wonderdog's Koa 20th Silo left handed!!
or a JP left handed...I don't really think I would change the specs of anyof them, but a Spalted Maple top JP would be about the most killer guitar ever.

I'd like a goldtop Axis :D

Other than that, I'd like to see one Axis model, but with any combination of the ASS options, like: Choice of either the 5-way switch w/ the Floyd, or a 3-way switch w/ the MM tremolo.

Also, I'd like to have the option of an HSS config on the Axis, like EBMM once offered on the Sport model.
