NObozos search the stickys and read the big gc thread...everything is a two edged sword.

I am happy that we get included in the private reserve room. For many reasons...first off it puts us in the company where we belong and secondly it reduces the chance of getting severly shopworn

BP...awesome news an long overdue! These guitars that brings us here everyday should have been in the private reserve room years ago!

The quality and care in which they are made seem unmatched.

Cool. Usually when I go to GC I end up playing a Stingray or Sterling for the heck of it since they never have any EBMM guitars. There are still several guitar models I have never seen in person (Silo, Morse, AL), so hopefully I can try these out one of these days. I even bought my Silo Spec over the 'net without ever playing one!

Oh yeah - the psychological factor is huge. You can talk about specs, build quality, market segment, price point all you want, but to the average guitarist a big part of how they judge quality is by the company a guitar keeps in the showroom. If it's hanging with other, more widely recognized "nice" guitars, it too will be a "nice" guitar. If it's hanging with a bunch of "cheap" guitars, it will be relegated to the realm of "cheap" guitars, no matter what the quality.

I think that's one of the most common problems I see with the perception of EBMMs. Lots of people don't know of EBMM, and they have no frame of reference for comparing with other guitars. This right here is it.

That is good news! I only wish some of the stores in Toronto would do a little more in terms of keeping a nice selection of Balls. It's slowly getting better, once a month I do a tour of duty and check out all of the stores to see what's in, you never know what might catch your eye....... a JP BFR I hope ;)

I hope the EB online store becomes available to to us Northerners, I still can't find any of the EB wipes, I'm dying to try these out.

Awesome, I think having them up high and displayed is cooler than a private room.
(Hey I am back from my trip btw if anyone remembered my thread from a few days back)

I sure hope so. The Guitar Center in Tucson is dry. I went in there and asked, "Do you have any Ernie Ball Music Man guitars?" The guitar guy said, "Nope, just basses." And with that I left.

They a long time ago had a Pearl Red Burst Petrucci fully loaded. It was used and they wanted waaaay too much for it.

Part of the problem isnt with the dealers...ok well it is But the dealers who get behind us we pay attention to.....But in the end we are still limited as far as our production goes

But better limited in production and of a superb quality than ramming them out 1000 a day and shoddy quality, well for us anyway!

....excellent news for MM;

I hope this will include some training for the GC personnel, about 10 months ago, I inquired about a MMJP6 at the local GC (Boise, ID), and got a blank look - I eventually got him to look it up for a price, all the while he was steering me to an Alternate Brand that Starts With an "I".....

- will this include their carrying an expanded lineup of accessories as well? My GC doesn't carry RPS's and recommended that I order them online....

It will be WAY cool to see the MM guitars displayed there - way to go BP!;)

BP, dunno if this is up your and GC's alley, or if it's already too late to act on the idea, but with the new movie release of "Balls of Fury", it could make a groovy radio station co-promotion: EBMM guitar give-away, free on air tickets to the movie, etc. Just a thought.

I know this is getting off-topic and everything. But up here in Canada they seem pretty much inexistent. Last time I checked was about a month or so ago in Vancouver at Long and McQuade, which is our equivalent of Guitar Center up here. Long story short....these guys had no idea what Wonder Wipes were nor could they find them on their database. I also tried Tom Lee Music...same answer. So ended up paying inflated ebay prices. Do you know if these are yet or will be available in Canada? Or again, does it come down to the dealers up here as well?

BTW, all 3 work great and I'm surprised no one ever thought of them sooner.

Good news!

FWIW, the Dallas stores usually have a Luke or an Axis hanging on the wall somewhere. It would be nice if they would keep a few Silo Specials in stock now and then. (hint, hint, Dallas area GC's!)

I'm really glad to hear this, Poppa!

Superb EBMM's finally getting the place for display they deserve.
Oh boy, one day I hope I will finally get myself a trip to California and see SLO, some GCs and maybe some of you guys :D
