I dont want to join on the fanboy wagon but there is a local shop in queens that carrys Suhr and although theyre nice they dont justify the price to me, I would honestly pay more for my silo spcial, WAY better necks and Way better bridge design, plus you have an original body/headstock design, if I want a strat body Ill buy a warmoth or something - guitars are subjective like music itself but I find the silo specials better no comparison -
I agree soooo much with this statement
Strat's are a cool body, can't deny it.
AL's and Silo's are no doubt a strat killer but still not a 'Strat' in most guitar players eye
the guitar has evolved for a very long time and with the renduncy of the factory made ones, why not spice it up and go for some thing like USA guitars or Warmoth, you can find a much more authentic vintage Strat tone(which we all know are hard to come by) if you can mess around with it yourself and not have to worry about "factory original".
I however don't need one with my Silo, but if I did I would go to USA guitars I imagine.
