Ok.

I've just talked to the fire goddess. We're going to give it one more month.

I still need good vibes! Lol. :)

You still plan on being a musician in a month!?

You're the "cats meow" dude... I'd follow Sterling's advice if I were you.

And part of me can't help but think this is just all a clever diversion from "Heinz-gate"... ;)

Sending you good vibes from France, Stanky, but please allow me a few comments.

1/ You finally decided to give yourselves one more month. That can be a good thing, but IMHO only if a consensus can be found. Are you that busy with music ? Are you a pro ? Or are you involved in a band that does 3 or 4 rehearsals a week ? There are many chances she respects you as a musician, but I believe maybe she also wants to have some time to share with you. Can't you slow down rehearsals to 2 instead of 4 (if that's the case, of course) ?

2/ In 1985 I divorced because of music. My wife wanted me to make a choice : her or music. I chose divorce. She was working (and still does) at the tax department, 35 hours a week of a monotonous job where no part of creativity was required, and the fact is she needed someone like her, an alter ego. I actually was (and still am) the perfect opposite of that. That couldn't work. The split was sad, but finally the future went good for both of us.

Stanky, I'm no-one habilited to give you any kind of advice, though. But my biggest advice would be : don't do anything that would cause the sky turn to dark in the future. And if there is no other solution, make it rain now, so that good weather comes back as soon as possible. The extra one month should allow making thoughts clearer, IMO.

Once again, wishing you best luck and sending you all the best vibes I can.

Jean.

Bp is right things will look different in about 6 months, just remember don't ever sacrifice or give up your passion for someone else, because if you do you will only end up resenting that person for it, stay true to your passion and you will find someone who will want to take the same ride through life as you.

Stanky that is touchy feely psycho babble....all of it except for the party time.

And dont think that I dont know the fire goddess isnt reading this. ( Note to fireg...stay away from musicians...they have funny senses of humor.)

Sterling, you've really shed some serous light on me as have the rest of you. I can't thank you guys enough. I can't wait to see all of you Thursday and Friday.

It looks like we may be taking these 3 days until the party to be ok then when I head out, we take a 1 month hiatus to really evaluate what we want.

You guys absolutely rock.

Hey mate, it's always a bummer when things turn bad.

However, you are very lucky, you have age on your side. What I wouldn't give to be your age again.

Cheer up, you're going to have a great weekend, I'll even get you a Jagermeister, now how's that for a consolation prize. ;)

I'm not ashamed to take you up on that offer. This isn't going to bring me down. I'm going to have a damn good time!

I guess she couldn't handle the Orlando thing, huh?

You know, where would Yoko be if she wasn't a musician's girlfriend?

And you don't need to party your ass off in the desert. Just be yourself, hang with friends, make new friends, enjoy your time.

Now go right a few sad songs (or listen to a couple), feel sorry for yourself for a little bit, and then snap out of it.

Take BP's advice.

Andrew, my man, it's never too late to have a happy childhood.

At your age, if you aren't insanely happy with how everything is going in a relationship, then bail out.

There's an old saying which I will paraphrase. Women marry men thinking they'll change, and they don't. Men marry women thinking they won't change, and they do.

Never buy a Ford thinking that someday you'll get around to changing all the parts and making it into a Chevy. It's always going to be a Ford. Which is not a bad thing, but you better realize early on that it's always going to be a Ford.
