This is #13 of the 100 NAMM Centennial basses, made on January 30 in 2001. It's pristine, as good as new. I'd dreamed of having one of these, but never thought I'd find one in such perfect condition.

I feel lucky to have found such a rare and great bass!

Wow, congrats! Truly a special bass.

I'm not really into this graphite neck stuff, but how does this one sound different from a 'normal' Stingray4?

Thanks everybody! Have a hard time putting it down and coming back to the computer... :)

@thunder: I'd appreciate if I could PM you in case I have questions about it

@simonbass: Can't tell yet exactly, I would describe it as more "focused" and "strong". I plan to do recordings with the different StingRays to compare 2 EQ / 3 EQ and graphite neck as soon as I can get a StealthPlug or other sound interface.

...back to playin'.... :D

what do they call that colour though?

Inca Silver. It's a silver colour that has a nice "aged look", meaning it's not a cold blueish silver but has a slight touch of golden warmth.

If you ever want to sell it, you come to me first ok?

I have a collector's soul and I think that bass will stay with me for quite some time...:D

Congrats! I was very interested in that bass, but never heard back from the seller about a non-local sale. Glad it stayed in in the family!
