Thanks once again for all responses! Now I'm kinda depressed :) I just sick to get this guitar! I could give away my blood, my custom Jackson RR, seed, whatever to get this guitar! I've played several times on JP6 so far and now I can't sleep! Unfortunately I can afford for a half of that guitar in this moment :/ Well, at least I can watch the pictures of all BFR's all over again...and again...

Oh, and one more question (probably the weirdest one) - Ho tall is John Petrucci? This guitar is so ergonomic in shape and definitely matches to his height ad so on. 2 weeks ago I was on DT show, I was even close to Mr John but couldn't find a clue about his actual height :)

Best to all and hope one day I'll be in the Ballz family!
Cheers from Poland,
Mike

hehehe indeed, he has really big arms! Have you seen "Score" DVD, that part about history? There is a shot from Berkeley (novadays) and John looks like a really big guy! Plus he seems to be so friendly!

anyway he's the man!

I'm guessing that the "no maple fretboard" rule also applies to the Lukes as well ? I haven't seen one yet . I wonder if a Sillhoutte neck would fit onto a JP or Luke body hehehhehe.

I met JP in '93 on the images and words tour. I was just a young lad then but I'm around the same hiehgt then as now (6') and was pretty much head and shoulders above him.

However, his biceps are taller than me!

you probably already know this video: :[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXqsYCyx6BE"]YouTube - John Petrucci BFR F1[/ame]

4:16~18

Petrucci says "we changed the fret size..."...

That's something new for me. Anybody knows more about this? Are they smaller or bigger?

He actually said "we didn't change the fret size, or the Rosewood......... "

;)

whoops  you're right! I'm sorry :) I missed that...I'm not native, I thought "didn't" was like a sec of thinking or "hm.." something like that! Thanks for correcting me and make fret size thing clear :) Plus it's logic, it was too early for me to comment :D

My New BFR

Just got my BFR in yesterday, thought I'd share a picture comparison. . . BTW, LOVE the official thread with all the pics, when I saw mine I fell in love immediately. But, with all due respect, the pictures don't do the guitar justice at all. . . Here's their pic:

Here are the ones I JUST took (forgive the fingerprints)

Really sweet guitar and as John says 'sings' , even unplugged. . . Enjoy. . .

OH, long time-first time. . . Thanks for having me. . .

Greetings Lifeson1 and welcome to the forum. WoW! Your new guitar is amazing looking to be sure. I also noticed that your guitar was listed under the title "Artist Relations". It's always great to have the EBMM sponsered artists on board. That's just one of the things that makes this place extra cool. And with that, welcome again.
