"unnatural"? That's the best dig you've got? You mean it doesn't appear out in nature, but you can find Blue Dawn just around every toadstool?

Come on- if you dislike it say so - I much prefer honest opinions. At least one member said it looked like somebody threw up on a JP - now that's the kind of honesty I can admire. A subtle dislike can be taken for just indifference - which is fine if that's what you're after. But I prefer open honesty to all that - I don't have time to read minds or decipher innuendo. Boldness please. Thanks.

Norrin Radd,

No , it's not that I dislike the swirl color, what I meant is that it is the first time I see the swirl color for eb guitars. doesn't meant to insult or anything, just it.

hope you don't misleading by what I'm saying by the unnatural thing. Unnatural means good and unique in my perception.

I'm being honest, If I don't like it I will say so. But never to say something bad or something like that to other people, it's just not my thing. that's my boldness.

thanks.

Nah, I still reckon Silverburst is on it's way.

No way. It's ugly.
I'm pretty sure BP has the same opinion.
I wouldn't expect it to to well in sales.

Don't care for the silverburst, but the all natural bass looks shweet.

I'm sitting on a Silo order until the 08 comes out....sea foam would be nice.:)

BP already said "no outdated Fender colors from the past"

Oops, I missed that. How about making it metallic then? Call it Extreme Ocean Suds? Just kidding (well, not about the metallic part).

How about GreenBurst...trans-emerald green bursting to black. This can look awesome or hideous, but EBMM would do it awesome. I'd love to see that on a BFR-grade top.

A lot of folks here seem to hate green guitars (DDs notwithstanding), but I think they sound better. :D

Looking at the old colour chart, there are lots of reds and oranges and lots of blues, so we need something different (and I'm not a fan of red or orange anyway, so I'll admit my bias up front). We've just done a sparkle/solid colour burst LE, so avoiding those suggests a non-sparkle, transparent/translucent, non-burst finish that can't be blue, red, orange, or black ('cause the 2006LE was). What does that leave? Green, yellow, purple or white perhaps? Non burst now seems a bit restrictive, so I'll allow the trans burst option but not solid.

A Mary Kay style semi translucent off-white would be gorgeous, like some of the old silo photos I've seen lately with the grain coming through, particularly with gold hardware. Grain on body woods may be an issue though. It's a tad similar to the buttercream too which may scupper things a bit more.

Trans yellow to purple burst is too close to the Y2D so that's out.

Yellow to green burst perhaps? Black headstock, gold hardware?

Transparent purple to black burst, gold hardware, matching headstock?

Or it might be some new crazy metallic finish, not a sparkle, something more like hammerite-type big flake effect looking thing. Gun metal green or something.
