Look, I'm a lifelong Giants fan, living in Dallas, Texas.

Yesterday, we went to a bar/eatery and watched the game. All those Romo jerseys made it hard to eat, really. Oh yeah - and Terrel Owens jerseys! Yeesh.

And I figured the Giants were going to lose anyway.

Anyway, during the last two minutes of the game....I mean, if I'd been at home, I would have been leaping around and screaming and having seizures and so on, but there amongst the enemy, I had to be VERY, VERY quiet.

So allow me to celebrate just a little.

Jack, you devil you!

BIG BLUE! BIG BLUE! BIG BLUE!

Been a fan since I can remember and haven't missed a game in many, many years.

There's too little space here to rant about the good and bad aspects of the game, but I'll just say that it's a beautiful thing beating Dallas at home.

Jack,

Reminds me of when I was living in New York City in '91, watching Super Bowl XXV....

and being a Bills Fan.

You remember Scott Norwood, don't you? You know what I'm talkin' bout!

I'm happy for NY only because, 'cept for the cheerleaders, I'm can't stand the Cowboys.

I'm a huge Atlanta Falcons fan --- but I've got nothing to boast about, so I'll shut up now.

A few Cowboys fans at work bought Championship game tickets, Plane tix, booked hotels, etc.
Told 'em I'm sure there's a lot to do in Dallas in late Jan. besides watch football. Oh, wait. . .
The NY football Giants will have a tougher game this Sunday in Lambeau, theau.
I'm guessin SB XLII will be a redo of XXXI, but with the final score reversed. Pats go 19-0.

Is this the sport that is known as "American Football" of which we speak?

I'm a huge Rush fan, so I obviously have no taste; but I also don't watch sports.

I was the kid reading the field guide to birds during recess.

I'm from Mississippi, too.

Anyone mind if I go back and delete a bunch of crap so I can have my football thread back?

No?

Okay, thanks.

Now, then.

Go, Giants! Unless the Packers beat them, because I like the Packers, too!

But wouldn't it be fun to watch the Patriots make history?

Hmmmm?

Sorry, dude. I need to keep my mouth shut!

Go 49ers! LOL.

Ahh.. the Patriots. It'd be cool, but I'm not looking forward to another Boston meltdown(like the Sox win.. good Lord, people were acting crazy!)

Maybe, I should just join in this time. Hmm.
