Well i finally bought me a new amp to play my AL's through at home, my two other gigging amps are just too much, too loud for home use. Ive been looking for ages for an amp that just makes me wanna go home with it, and nothing over the past year has done it. I wanted a nice classy small amp, that sounds cool, looks cool, not too heavy, and i found this yesterday

Never thought of Carvin before, but this amp seriously is cool. 16 watts, and can be switched down to 5 watts, which is very cool. Very simple to use, no crap, takes pedals well, oozes classy tube tone. Fender style amp really.

What a combo with my super duper special forum Black Sparkle Albert Lee. amazing tones, thanks again guys for making this guitar so special, every day I think about how wonderful things are and how much support you all gave, it means the world to my little family. Tom is doing so well, its amazing. He's improved out of sight over the past 10 days since coming home from hospital, its just great.

Hey Rob!

I just found these in your sig.
I think that Al is his baby! He's thinking he can't wait until he knows to play that fretboard! Priceless.

I dont know if its dumb or not, but every day i spend 15 minutes showing a guitar to Tom, just holding the fretboard in front of him, like in the pics, and seeing what he does, over time he has really gotten used to it, as soon as i put it in front of him he grabs it with both hands, and kinda flings his hands at the strings and laughs at the noise, he gets bored after a while and goes back to his toys, but I'm happy with that, he's only 7 months old!

Rob,

That's not dumb at all! That's awesome.
Those are great memories you're creating. He may be a child prodigy because of it. You and your wife are the best teachers he'll ever get.

Classic pics of Tom totally engrossed in the AL. He looks great

The youngest of my two boys will immediately strum the open strings of a guitar and start singing twinkle twinkle little star. Meanwhile, my older son straps on his mini electric and wants to windmill like Townsend

It really is incredible to see your child react to something totally new and foreign and how you can watch their mind work
