Although I own a LittleMark II, I've certainly never claimed it the be all and end all of amps. I love a good tube head and I bet that things smokes. I'm glad you've found a rig that makes you happy...

at least for now. :)

Hey T-man. I am next in line for the next Genz 6.0 12T that my dealer gets. My MarkBass stuff will be history as soon as it hits.

Nice cabinet!

I love my Markbass rig and will use it until it falls apart...it's just too easy to load/unload and it sounds damned good.

But I still feel kind of macho when I look over at my big Ampeg cabs and a Sunn head. Not macho enough to pick it up and haul it around, mind you.

Bet that sounds good, Travis.

Hey I love it Travis! I have a SVT-CL with an 810E and a SVT 15E too!

But when I leave the house it's the MarkBass LMII and a Bergie of some sort, I can load in in one trip. Have fun you young/good back whippersnaper. :D

i had an SVT CL. for me no tone is worth that weight. ~80 lb head + my 98 lb Aguilar 4x10... no way. i sold it.

being able to shove my markbass LMII in a backpack with my cables etc makes it my go to amp.

Tonewise I once had a head that I liked better... a Mesa m-pulse 600, but that caught fire. LoL

It looks.... small... for an Ampeg.

To be fair, I have to admit that my Holy Grail of bass sound still is a StingRay into an SVT head with 8x10 cab. But as long as I'm my own roadie and tech, I'll not even think about owning one...

I still use an Ampeg head at one of my drummer's places as a practice amp and still like it but my Markbass F1 fits in my gig bag and sounds better. I was a pure Ampeg guy (heads and cabs) for 20+ years. To each their own.

I still only use Ampeg cabs exclusively though. SVT 2x10's and a 1x15.

The F1 + Ampeg cabs + SR sounds great IMO

Not sure why everyone assumes 90lbs of SVT when someone mentions loving the tube power.
There have always been lighter alternatives.
