so, if I had a MOP inlay on my fretboard, of a design, that I wanted to "disguise", what would be the best? a sharpie? paint? NOT permanent

Are you trying to disguise the 2007 inlay? If so, why? Just wondering. Anyway, I suppose you could cover it with a thin tape and paint the tape with a sharpie to match the fretboard.

How about using the pair of glasses with the fake nose and mustache?

I'd say that it's probably the "fist" inlay on a Benji Maden model EBMM. I started to buy the one at the local dealer and make a regular silo out of it but that fist inlay throws everything off. I could sand the name off and rout under the pickguard but I woudn't know what to do with that inlay besides leave it there....
